The Great Muppet Caper

Muppets Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Gonzo star in this whodunit. When a big London fashion designer’s necklace is stolen, the thief frames Miss Piggy for the crime. Investigative reporter Kermit and his team of Fozzie Bear and Gonzo the Great beg their boss to send them to London to cover the story. Charles Grodin deliciously plays the designer’s jealous brother, Diana Rigg is the fashion designer who is victimized and Jack Warden plays as the newspaper boss. With only $12 between them, Kermit and company climb aboard a cargo plane and jet across the pond to solve the mystery. This is the second Muppet movie and the only one directed by creator Jim Henson. — Jaime Mendez
