E Pluribus Texas Selections
We are now Clear & Cashless!
Learn MoreE Pluribus Texas is a series of 250 short videos that focus on various threads of Texas history and are intended for students from kindergarten through age 16, but also meant to appeal to history buffs. It’s produced by The Texas Center at Schreiner University in Kerrville. Representatives of El Paso’s Tom Lea Institute will present a special nine-episode program from the series, which will focus on the Borderlands region, featuring the artwork of Tom Lea. It will include episodes on Cabeza de Vaca, railroads, the U.S. Army, and Mexican President Francisco I. Madero. As the Tom Lea Insitute writes, “Through powerful storytelling and compelling visuals, the series explores the complex history of the Texas borderlands — an essential part of the Texas story too often overlooked in traditional history books.” — Doug Pullen
