The Secret Life of Pets

When the dog mom is away, the pets will play. In this computer animated comedy from Illumination, a big, scruffy shelter mutt named Duke (Eric Stonestreet) is brought home as a new fur sibling for Max (Louis C.K.), a pampered New York terrier. Max becomes jealous and unsettled. They have a disagreement and end up on the streets, where the dogs get lost in the big city and are rescued by a posse of abandoned pets. As they try to get back to their apartment, Duke and Max are pulled into a borough-spanning adventure where they outrun danger and build unexpected bonds. Together they learn that is possible to find friendships when differences are set aside, and rivalry gives way to understanding. Makes you wonder what your pets are doing when you aren’t home!
