Something's Gotta Give

Before social media became obsessed with Nancy Meyers’ kitchens, audiences fell in love with Something’s Gotta Give. Set among picturesque Hamptons beach houses and filled with Meyers’ signature warmth and wit, the film stars Jack Nicholson as Harry Sanborn, a lifelong bachelor and music mogul whose unexpected romance with playwright Erica Barry (Diane Keaton) forces him to rethink everything he knows about love. The stellar supporting cast includes Frances McDormand as Erica’s candid sister Zoe and Amanda Peet as Harry’s much younger girlfriend Marin. Reuniting Meyers and Keaton following Father of the Bride, the film became one of the defining romantic comedies of the 2000s and earned Keaton an Academy Award nomination.
