Safety and Security Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and organized, clean, professional workspace and waiting area
Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
Provide excellent customer service with a helpful and friendly attitude
Generate department schedules that comply with the requirements of the facility and events
Provide input/ generate standard operating procedures, training forms, etc.
Oversee and obtain feedback with Lead Officers
Provide training to subordinates
Recommend disciplinary action for subordinates
Maintain electronic records of D.A.R.’s, Incident Reports, PM’s, Inspections, etc.
Generate work orders and upload required documents via web-based application
Attend meetings and disseminate meeting information
Delegate duties to subordinates, daily and weekly
Knowledge of CCTV usage and data extraction
Knowledge of Access Control and generating badges
Report employees in violation of ASM Global’s conduct policies
Ability to perform subordinate duties to include but are not limited to: Patrolling premises to ensure safety of
patrons, staff, vendors, participants and others on premises. Respond to alarms and distress calls, escort
disruptive individuals to security office and/or off premises. Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or
tampering. Respond, generate and review incident reports, prepare and review late parking and car storage
reports, assist with crowd control inside and outside. Escort/ assist departments when handling large sums of
money, supervise security officers to ensure completion of assigned duties.
Operate and industrial forklift
Act M.O.D.’s as needed
Assist other departments in need to accomplish event expectations or company’s objectives
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
Position requires physical ability to move around facility grounds and buildings, may require operation of motor vehicle, may be exposed to physical confrontations, indoors and outdoors working conditions and long periods of desk duties. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1-3 years Security Lead/ Supervisor experience Organizational Skills Computer knowledge and typing skills Effective Communication and interpersonal skills Current knowledge and training in first aid, i.e. CPR needed Current knowledge/certification in crowd control, fire suppression, and emergency preparedness preferred Security certification
