Water Parks Sales Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following • Foster community relationships with other local businesses, churches, schools, etc. This would require our Sales Manager to attend Chamber Events or other Community Events to make contacts, build relationships, and capitalize on opportunities.
• Increase Group Sales / Private Event Bookings / Birthday Party Bookings • Reconnect with past clients and groups to rebook and cold call new prospective clients • Organize multiple events for the summer. Including: concerts, entertainment, group outings, sponsor / partnership management and communications. • Schedule events with meticulous detail and communication with appropriate parties. • Obtain, communicate, and support corporate sponsors to maintain and improve partner relationships Contact appropriate groups, churches, organizations, companies, and individuals for sales opportunities to assist in filling the events (group sales calls to make events as full as possible) • Ensure continual communication and contract obligations are met with all parks sponsors and groups (Promotional Signage, Splash Radio Commercials, etc.) • Comfortable working with the public and communicates with a positive demeanor • Oversee a flawless customer experience for all booked groups • Complete other duties as identified or assigned with a can-do attitude

Education and/or Experience
• College education or equivalent • Guest Service, Sales/Marketing prior experience, education, and/or combination of both is desired.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in high volume group sales for a hospitality, theme park, or waterpark company. • Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED-College Education preferred. • Extremely organized • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office • Willing to research, cold call, follow up on leads for any potential group business, corporate partners, entertainment, etc. • Positive, self-starter. • Must successfully complete and pass a background, credit check, and sex offender check. • Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States. • Willingness to work long hours during the Waterpark Season - including nights, weekends, and holidays.
