workforce development as well as advocating for improved film incentives for the

region allowing us to better compete with neighboring states when vying for large

scale productions.

This is also an exciting time for the El Paso Live Division of Destination El Paso. We

continue to fill our facilities with family friendly and unique events that not only

increase entertainment options but also increase revenue opportunities. With the

addition of four new annual festivals, including the El Paso Ice Cream Festival and the

most recent addition, downtown El Paso’s WinterFest, we can begin to monetize our

brand and assets helping us fill our venues with affordable entertainment options for

the community. We have invested in dedicated staff focused on sponsorships and

special events with an aggressive goal to grow each year. What’s more exciting is to

see the growth in our El Paso Electric Presents Broadway in El Paso series. Because of

our strong subscription base we have been able to add a second set of performances,

or what we call Act II, allowing more prime seating options. We also feel that our

partnerships in both southern New Mexico and northern Mexico could yield additional

subscription sales spurring further growth.

We are excited about the future of the city as well as Destination El Paso and know

that much work lies ahead. We eagerly accept it and look forward to continued

growth and prosperity.
