El Paso Pro-Musica Brings World's Reigning Violinist Itzhak Perlman in Concert to the Plaza Theatre

El Paso Pro-Musica is proud to announce the return of the World’s Reigning Violinist, Itzhak Perlman in Concert on March 3, 2020 at the Plaza Theater at 7:30 p.m.

Undeniably the reigning virtuoso of the violin, Itzhak Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician. Beloved for his charm and humanity as well as his talent, he is treasured by audiences throughout the world who respond not only to his remarkable artistry, but also to the irrepressible joy of making music, which he communicates. Itzhak Perlman was honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in the recording arts. His recordings regularly appear on the best-seller charts and have garnered fifteen Grammy Awards.

El Paso Pro-Musica last presented Mr. Perlman in Concert at the Plaza Theater in 2009. The 2020 Concert Season celebrates his 75th Birthday.

“It is an absolute thrill to bring Itzhak Perlman back to El Paso,” said Artistic Director Zuill Bailey. I have had the great privilege of working with Mr. Perlman, most notably performing alongside his daughter Navah, with him serving as Conductor of the Israel Philharmonic. His return to El Paso is nothing less than monumental for all of us," said Bailey.
