Free Movie Series Returns to McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre

El Paso Live is proud to announce Movies in the Canyon, a free film series returning this season under the El Paso night sky at the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre. This year’s lineup is suitable for the entire family and will feature “Family-Friendly” Fridays (G to PG Rating) and “Social Saturdays” (PG to PG-13 Rating).

The seven week popular movie series will play every Friday and Saturday on a jumbo-sized inflated movie screen starting on August 18 through September 30, with fun weekly genres such as: Super Hero, Song and Dance, Comedy and more.
Doors open at 6:30PM to allow guests to purchase popcorn, ice-cold sodas, candy and other treats at the Canyon Concession Stand before heading to their seats. Movies begin at dusk which falls between 7:30PM to 8:15PM during the season.
Weekly online contests are also new to the series. Two guests each week will be selected to win a “Movie Lover’s Combo Pack” if they like, tag and/or share a post on El Paso Live’s Facebook page each week at Winners will receive a complimentary large soda, popcorn and candy at the Canyon Concession Stand during the series.
